Our Energy Project - By Dong Won



Last Monday, our class presented our work about energy. I learned a lot of things from the project. It was very interesting and I did mine about hydroelectricity. Yuta and Travis also did theirs on hydroelectricity, and i also learned some things from there. I think everybody did hard work on their project and there was some interesting ways to present. Deakin made a Google sites to present his work. I thought that way was interesting. also, he embedded a video in the site so that we don’t have to go to the link.

Deakin - Wind Energy

In choosing to create a website, Deakin took advantage of having the ability to choose how he wanted to present what he learned in his own inquiry into wind energy

In the final summative project of the year, students pulled together all the Literacy, Math, and Inquiry skills that they have been working on this year. In preparation for this final project, all students needed to organize their time, formulate research questions, use multiple sources of information, apply learned IT skills, collaborate with other students (some), go through a process of revisions, and rehearse their presentations to the class.

Arifah - Fossil Fuels

Brooke Blogs about the Science Center




This is my group doing a experiment. To do this experiment you had to use a solar panel (something that you use to take light from the sun and turn it into energy) so we could shine a light on the solar panel so we could create electricity. When it created energy it made a little circle moved round and round like a compass. Attached to the small compose was a voltage reader and we used and attached all this together.
