We are using the PYP concepts of form, change and causation to learn about different landforms around the world. Instead of teachers asking the questions about what students see, students need to ask the questions that are relevant to them. This is a natural way of differentiating the various ability/experience/understanding levels in the class, regardless of who is who in a functional group.
Below is a sample of work that came from one of the simulations that were conducted on Thursday.
Is their a connection between students who are given the chance to ask their own questions and the development of greater independence in learning practice?
