Back with Math
Mathematics is not all about numbers. A diverse mathematical vocabulary allows students to verbally express what is happening in a mathematical expression. Today, in our second day in the GEOMETRY unit, we used simple figures to challenge students to use words such as line, square, length, tall, right, below, symmetrical, etc. It was also a challenge to have students admit that maths is FUN!
