Hey guys,Lucas and Vitya here! We will be talking about the abseiling that we did in camp!
So, basically abseiling is an activity that we climb down a wall with ropes attached to us so that we don’t fall and we wear a helmet,harness and gloves for safety. We have reflections that could be similar and might be not, so here are the reflections:
Lucas’s opinion/reflection: This is my first time doing abseiling. It was confusing when I first heard about abseiling but then I saw how it works. It looked very fun and exciting, Carsen (My friend/classmate) told me not to be nervous because you have all these ropes and safety gear. So i did it! It was a little pressuring but it was very fun! I tried it again and it was an amazing experience falling from three stories. I wish i could do it again, it’s also training for safety if there was an emergency. It was awesome fun!
Vitya’s opinion/reflection: This is also my first time doing abseiling too! When Allan (The instructor) said that we have to climb down a wall with a rope. I was kind of scared a bit. But then, when I finally done it, I wasn’t scared. Doing it was very fun when I’ve done it, but when I haven’t done it, it was scary. It was a great experience doing abseiling, it was very fun and exciting.
