us

We are students from ISS international school, in Singapore.  We are all from different places.  We are from Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, South Africa, Britain, The Nederlands, Australia, Denmark, Bermuda, The USA, and Canada.

We all like different things.

We created a set of essential agreements

Essential Agreements

  • respect other people's opinions and feelings
  • be gentle to everyone and keep your hands to yourself
  • raise your hand if you want to talk
  • always respect the classroom property
  • pay attention to what people say
  • hand everything in before or on the deadline
  • in a group, share your work equally
  • always try your best

  1. Hello!
It is great that we all like different things because it would be boring if everybody liked the same thing! I also like a lot of other things but we could not write them down :(

  2. Today our class in Indonesia was excited to read your class blog. We discovered that we have the same amount of students as you. We want to write comments on your blog so that we can communicate. We will write a bit about ourselves for homework, ready to share soon.

  3. It's great that we have different interests, or things we like. This way, we can respect people who like different things. Everyone has something different they like, and that I would like to say, is really nice. Wouldn't it be kind of weird if everyone liked the same thing as another person?

Greetings, I think it is a wonderful idea to have a set of essential agreements and it shows that although the class is made up of a lot of diverse nationalities and personalities you all respect each others culture, what a great shame that others lives cannot be viewed through the eyes of your classmates, things would be much more peaceful and tolerant in this world. Keep up the good work.
